Refill Policy

Adams Farm Animal hospital maintains a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products as well as heartworm preventatives. We carry a full line of prescription diets from Hill's, Iam’s/Eukanuba, Royal Canin, and Purina. All pet’s receiving medication or prescription food must have a current patient client relationship. This means your pet will need to have proof of an examination by a veterinarian within the last 12 months. To refill a prescription, please call our office at (336)854-5980. We will have your pet's prescription ready for pickup at our hospital within 24 hours.

Internet Pharmacies

Internet veterinary pharmacies are not regulated by any independent authority. Though medications received from them may be in similar packaging, they may or may not be legitimate products. To ensure the safety of our patients, our prescription policy is as follows:

We will not authorize filling a prescription directly to the internet pharmacy. For liability reasons, we will issue a written prescription for the pet owner to obtain a prescription at the pharmacy of their choice.
We will not authorize dispensing prescription drugs outside a valid veterinarian-client-patient relationship.
