Our Office Manager

Ann Adkins

Our Office Manager is Ann Adkins. She has been working at Adams Farm Animal Hospital (AFAH) since 1999. She and her husband Curtis have a large furry family: Roxy (geriatric orange tabby), Molly (geriatric yellow Labrador), Chloe (chow mix), Marley (Irish Water Spaniel) and Maizey Mouse (brown tabby).

Ann believes that people need pets as much as they need us. She enjoys working in the veterinary medical field because there is always something new to learn, and she is grateful for the trust our clients put in us to care for their beloved pets. As she describes it, "Our clients and patients are my friends!" Ann is also proud to work with the staff here at AFAH. "We each have our own individual talents and strengths and we all work together to make sure our patients are well cared for." In their limited "free" time, Ann and Curtis are renovating ("flipping") their house, which she optimistically thinks might be completed by 2020! They also love spending time with their pets and bike riding.

"Lucy"

Lucy is our most famous team member as she has been with us since 1995 . While Lucy has many job responsibilities such as breaking into food bags and chewing on medical records, she excels at lying in the sun sleeping Lucy celebrated her 17th birthday in December 2008.

"Precious"

Precious has been with our team since November 2006. She, like Lucy, has many job responsibilities but she is most famous for eating miscellaneous items such as plant matter, rubber bands, and syringe caps. She also enjoys being held upside down like a baby and sitting in any available lap. We remind ourselves regularly as we pull a rubber band out of her mouth she is, in fact, very "Precious"
