Our facilities will allow your pet to be as comfortable as possible while you are away. Please feel free to contact us for a tour of our facilities at any time. Please read the following before bringing your pet to board with us. Boarding RequirementsVaccination Requirements:
Dogs: All dogs boarding with us are required to be current on Rabies, Canine Distemper Virus, Canine Parainfluenza, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Bordetella and free of fleas and intestinal parasites. Cats: All cats boarding with us must be up to date on their Rabies and Distemper vaccines, and free of fleas and intestinal parasites. If you need to update your pet's vaccines prior to boarding we are happy to provide these services for you. Food: It is hospital policy that we do not accept raw food to be fed on our premises. If your pet is on a raw diet, please bring an alternative food for your pet while they boarding with us. If your pet has a sensitive stomach or tends to get anxious, please consider bringing your pet's food to minimize any chance of GI upset while they are boarding. Medications: All medications must be brought in the original prescription vial or bottle. For safety purposes, we will not accept any medication that does not have an approved prescription label. Please bring any OTC supplements in the original bottle or container. Should you not bring medications in original container, we are happy to fill your pet's prescription needs in our pharmacy upon admission. Please let us know if your pet will need a refill of any medications while boarding with us. Pets who need medication administered during their stay will be subject to a daily medication administration fee. Personal Items: We cannot ensure or guarantee that personal items you drop off with your pet will not get soiled, destroyed, or lost. If you do choose to leave personal items with your pet, please label all items with your name. We do not accept beds, food bowls, leashes, or collars. We will provide all these items for your pet. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: Unforeseen Medical Emergencies or Medical Needs: If your pet requires medical attention while boarding with us, we will call the emergency contact you leave on file for authorization to provide necessary medical services. You are welcome to put your own name and number as the emergency contact as long as you are reachable by phone while your pet is boarding. If we are unable to reach the emergency contact on file within a timely manner, we will provide any medical services necessary that are in the best interest of your pet, and invoice accordingly. Holidays: Note that our office is closed on all major holidays, which means you will not be able to drop off or pick up your pet for boarding on such days, however our kennel assistants will be here to take good care of your pet!
