In an effort to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all animals, we require all dogs be current on their rabies, distemper, Parvo, and Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccinations, and be free of internal and external parasites. Cats must be current on their rabies and distemper vaccinations and be free from fleas and intestinal parasites. Our goal is to make sure everyone stays safe and healthy. If your pet is in need of vaccines and/or parasite prevention, we are happy to provide those services to your pet prior to the bath or grooming when your drop them off for their appointment.
BATHS Treat your pet to a luxurious bath. Our special, cleansing baths remove dirt, debris and that odor – your pet will feel fresh and revitalized. If scratching is a problem, our medicated baths contain soothing agents that stop the itching. The purchase of a bath also includes a complete nail trim, anal gland expression, and ear cleaning. We also offer extras such as teeth brushing, thorough brush-outs and nail dremmeling.
Adams Farm Animal Hospital believes regular grooming helps keep your pet clean and comfortable. Grooming prices are determined by our groomer, and are based on size of pet, type of coat, length of time and effort it takes to groom your pet. Additional services such as de-shedding, teeth brushing, medicated baths, nail dremmeling, etc. are available for an additional fee. Our groomer would be happy to consult with you beforehand to provide an estimate for grooming services specific to your pet. If your pet has a tendency to be aggressive, please call us to discuss potential options to make the grooming process as easy as possible for you and you pet. Our Groomer, Chris Chris, our professional pet groomer, is patient, gentle and talented - ensuring that your pet has a positive experience. His compassion and experience as a groomer ensure that your pet will leave feeling and looking their best. In addition, Chris always notifies a doctor immediately if he notices any potential health issues including fleas, ticks, lumps under the skin, rashes, or other problems that could be potentially harmful to your pet. When you drop your dog off for their grooming appointment, Chris will meet with you personally to discuss the groom and any specific requests. He can provide an estimate based on your requests during that time.
